New toll road sections to be added to Hungarian e-vignette system from summer

Decree 13/2025 (V. 8.) ÉKM has been published, expanding the range of toll road sections in the e-vignette system.

In accordance with the amended Decree 45/2020 (XI. 28.) ITM, from 8 June 2025 the following expressways will be subject to tolls:

M44 motorway:

• In Pest County: M44 / section between the Kecskemét-north junction and the Szentkirály junction (new toll section)
• In Bács-Kiskun County: M44/section between the Kecskemét-north junction and the Tiszaug/Tiszakürt junction (new toll section: M44 / between Kecskemét-north and Lakitelek / Tiszakécske)
• In Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County: section between the Lakitelek/Tiszakécske junction and the Szarvas/Szentes junction
• In Békés County: the section between the Szolnok/Martfű/Kunszentmárton junction and the Békéscsaba-Gyula/Debrecen-Szeged junction

M85 motorway:

Section from the Győr-nyugat junction to Sopron, up to the national border (new toll section: between Sopron, the national border and the Sopron-észak junction)

National e-vignettes (daily, weekly, monthly, annual national) remain valid as usual on the affected sections.

County e-vignettes required for using the road sections

For the M44 motorway:

• Bács-Kiskun county e-vignette (new toll road section)
• Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county e-vignette
• Békés county e-vignette

It is worth noting that an e-vignette for Pest County is only required if the road user intends to use the M44 motorway between the M44 / Kecskemét-észak junction and the Szentkirály junction and does not have a vignette valid for Bács-Kiskun County.
